Clan Of Xymox
CLAN OF XYMOX is a band well known to Polish fans thanks to Tomasz Beksinski's broadcasts and numerous performances both in clubs and at festivals. The group, considered dark wave classics, was formed in the Dutch city of Nijmegen in 1981. Initially it operates as a duo consisting of: Ronny Moorings (keyboards, guitar, vocals) and Anke Wolbert (bass guitar, vocals). Since signing with 4AD, they have recorded many albums appreciated by fans and journalists. Their next albums were released by Universal Music, Trisol and Metropolis Records. Among their best albums are: "Creatures" ('99), "Notes Of The Underground" (2001), "Farewell" (2003), "Breaking Point" (2006), "In Love We Trust" (2009), "Darkest Hour" (2011), "Matters Of Mind, Body and Soul" (2014). To date, they have released 15 studio albums, 2 DVDs, a Concert Album, the compilation album "The Best Of" and the cover album "Kindred Spirits" (2012).
Their last album Limbo" was released in 2021. The band has toured both large concert halls and small clubs.
Clan Of Xymox's live performances consist of: Ronny Moorings: vox, melody guitar, Mojca: bass, Mario: guitar / bass, Sean: Keys, vocals, Daniel: keyboards. Ronny Moorings, who composes and records songs in his own studio "The Torture Chamber", remains the band's leader from the very beginning.
